Manu Mini Olympics – Tuesday 13th of August. We have arranged for coach Mike and his team from Playball to run a session for us at New Plymouth Old Boys rugby grounds. This is open to all children more details to follow. 

International Friendship Day Tuesday 30th July.

Daffodil Day Friday 30th August.

Curriculum 

We will continue to have a rich numeracy and Te reo Māori language focus throughout this year. In addition throughout this term we will follow the Olympic Games in Paris hold our own Manu Olympics, explore boat building, generated power forces following the America’s Cup. And with Hōteke Winter we are exploring wool with its sources and uses.

Conservation Week – 2nd September we will examine and explore native plants and Birds.

Te wiki o te Reo Māori Language Week – 16th September.
